RACQUEL CRISANTE

Racquel Crisante is a Philippine born Australian photographer whose artistic journey began after moving to Australia in her early teens.

Raised by her grandparents, she was able to migrate with the support of her aunt, who sponsored her relocation. Racquel completed her photography course at Ultimo College in Sydney.

Racquel discovered her deep connection with landscape photography in 2016, which marked a turning point in her creative path. Since then, she has dedicated herself to developing a distinctive visual style rooted in black and white waterscapes.

She often travels solo across Australia and abroad, seeking coastal and seascape locations that allow her to express the interplay between water, light and time.

Her compositions are characterised by using long exposures and precise angles, capturing coastal environments in a way that transforms everyday scenes into quiet, captivating moments. Her minimal use of grey tones enhances the contrast and emotion within each frame.

Working with a full frame digital camera, Racquel prints her distinct images on textured, high quality fine art paper to enhance depth and subtle detail, resulting in pieces that are both visually striking and unique that allow you to dream of escaping and connect with nature.
